AgricultHER conference scheduled for June 13 in Wilburton

Latimer County Extension  will host its annual AgricultHER conference geared toward women involved in agriculture statewide. The one-day conference includes hands-on learning, networking opportunities and a trade show. Registration is $35, and lunch is provided.

Session topics will include:

  • Food labeling laws
  • Certification in FAMACHA, a tool that manages parasite infections in small ruminants
  • Pecan tree grafting
  • Cattle handling
  • Trailer backing
  • Food preservation

Who: Women of all ages in agriculture are encouraged to participate. Those interested in attending can email [email protected] or call the Latimer County Extension office at 918-465-3349 to register.

When: 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, June 13

Where: Eastern Oklahoma State College Ballroom, 1301 W Main St., Wilburton
